Command Performance My Cookware of Choice

A few years ago I purchased a new set of command performance cookware from HSN. I didn't need a complete new set, but it was such a bargain for the whole set. My original intent was to buy it for the big 11" skillet. I thought it would be perfect to bake my casseroles in, and serve it right out of the pan. I love the shape of my pans. I was going to give the rest of the set to my son.

I ended up keeping the command performance pans. I gave away the tools (spoons, spatula, ladle), but I kept the entire set of pans. I gave my perfectly good set of luster craft cookware to the kid when he moved out.

My original set of command performance pans is in beautiful condition. The handles are gold and shiny, the pans continue to have a beautiful mirror finish. I have a big family and a lot of company for dinner. My pans get used a lot... I'm really impressed with how well they have stood up to the abuse they go through in our home.

I have purchased more of the set, since my original purchase. I also have the triple burner set. I keep it on my buffet table. It's beautiful to serve in! I have had guests comment about what a fabulous set of cookware I have. I love that!

HSN has the command performance set up as their today's special. They are also offering the 7 piece triple burner set with free shipping and handling. If you need pans... watch HSN for the demo throughout the day on Sunday. You may just be impressed enough to buy your own set.

I have had two Command Performance glass lid to completely shatter without warning.

One just this AM...I had washed and put in the drainer and about one hour later I heard a noise like something had fallen and it was the lid. Completely shattered.
I will call the co. to see if I can get a replacement.....but since two have done this, this is warning to others.....

We got 2 pot sets between 2000-2003. A 7 piece and a 24 piece set. When they arrived, one glass top was shattered in the box. The next night-first use- that lid exploded during baking. There went our chicken dinner. Then 2 broke in the box spontaneously. I had not removed the whole set from the box at that time. We decided not to use the lids any more. I was a good thing because eventually every glass lid broke. Some had never been handled except for the initial opening of the box. I call Command Performance and got a voicemail that stated the glass lids would be replaced. So this must have happened to quite a few of them. I never received mine. I had to buy a pot set from a swap market to cook with lids. Some of those fit the CP. I still use aluminum foil for the larger pots. I have contacted CP repeatedly and the last time just as the customer service provider was about place the order, a manager stopped her and said that I had to have some proof of purchase. That was in 2010. I've kept a lot of things for a long time, but after 8 to 10 years that was pushing it. Oddly enough, that was the first time I ever got to speak to anyone over the years. I have never had a phone call returned to me after leaving plenty of messages (of my name and number, no cussing or yelling) on their voicemail. Now the 1 qt has a hole where the handle meets the side (water leaks) and one of the 2 qt handles is broken off. Those two are the most used in the set. I don't know the longevity of this pot ware set. I just want my lids. I seldom use the 7 piece serving set with the chaffing dish. That'd be kinda embarrassing before company, which was the purchase of the set. The actual pots are great, just wish I had a whole set or two. Marcia in Florida

Hi Marcia! Thanks for your comment. I am sorry about your troubles with the company. I'm not affiliated with the command performance company or HSN, but I'm glad you posted your troubles here. Sounds like a good warning about the shattering glass.

Wow, considering how they are advertised and promoted on HSN, I'm surprised they don't have better customer service. I'm surprised HSN is affiliated with a company with poor customer service like that. Have you tried contacting HSN about it? They may be able to help with the proof of purchase. It might be worth checking with them about it.

My pans are in really good condition after all these years. I went to a 2nd hand store to replace the large lid with a big stainless steel lid. I haven't had any more troubles with them.

I was reading some other reviews, and people were having trouble with the gold washing off the handles. I haven't had that problem either.

I haven't used my lids very much since my large lid shattered. When I do use them, I run them under hot water before putting them onto a steaming pot. Now I'm really unsure about using the glass lids.

I have 2 sets of Command Performance sets and bought one for my Best friend and have had no problem with my sets, nor has she. I have had my sets since they first came out and the cook perfectly. I never had a lid crack or break. I suppose it could happen, but HSN sent me a set of new lids @ one point in time... maybe as a precaution. But I still have some of those lids too. Sorry if some of you have had bad experiences with your products. These Pots cook better than any pots I have ever had, plus they still look Great after over 10years.

Hi, I have a very large 14inch on the interior/16 inch from side to side, two handle fryer. I love it and bought one for my daughter in law. She loves it too. The glass top shattered as I accidently put it in the oven, (that's where I keep the pan as it is too large for the drawer.) Unbeknownst to me the oven was cooling from cooking and the glass top shattered. So don't put your covers in a warm to hot oven. I want the cover which would be 16 inches. I also have been looking to buy a set and/or another fryer with cover. This is the best cookware I've ever had. I looked up the company and it seems they are out of business. So I guess I'm out of luck.

Hi, so my friend just got me a 22 peice set of Command Performance Gold cookware. But it is a second hand set without any info on it. Is this set oven safe? Also the set that I have seems to be from around 2002 or so, as all but two of the lids are also stainless steel. So far they cook amazingly! I made chicken gravy from scratch and it cleaned super easy. Fries eavenly and had almost no problem with the chicken I fried sticking

I've had these pans for decades. Maybe since the late 90s. They are excellent and still look beautiful. However, they can't compare to my all-clad collection. But.... for the price, command performance has amazing cookware.

I've have the COMPLETE set of Command Performance cookware, including every item, appliance, accessory they have ever made. I purchased my set back in the late 90's - early 2000's from HSN and have NEVER had an issue with a single item...nothing....not even one broken lid...( knock on wood ! ).

I use the dishwasher with a pre-rinse just before. I also use "Steel Glo" on them to keep them shining both on the outside and inside of the pans. I used to have electric burners, then electric glass stovetop and now for the past 7 years...I have a gas range...so, I've cooked on every surface there is.

They still look like new and get so many compliments and they also hang from the Command Performance hanging pot rack, which really compliments the cookware!

Hope all of you have many years of serving pleasure and I wish HSN would sell CP again, as I'm addicted to their beauty!

I was working in my office and out of the blue the glass cover to a pot I never used exploded and through glass everywhere. Command performance.
